Business Operations Manager Tracking Code [removed phone] Job Description Primary responsibility to improve efficiency and execution of the business operations function. Execute business operation policies that complement excellent customer service. Will supervise some accounting functions, facilities, and student finance areas. ? Execute business operation policies and communicate to internal and external customers. ? Enforce policies and procedures relating to the business operations at the campus level. ? Achieve excellent customer service while continually improving efficiencies in the Business Operations. ? Facilitate external/internal audits including Title IV program and internal control reviews. ? Provide campus level month-end accounting information to Centralized Accounting Group (CAG) including revenue, cash, A/P, certain accruals and others as directed. ? Assist in preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements. ? Assist Regional Controller to prepare annual budgets as directed. ? Assist Regional Controller to provide information for monthly forecast. ? Provide supporting documentation for budgets/forecasts as directed. ? Maintain a cash management system to meet disbursement requirements including PeopleSoft approvals, A/P accruals and PO accruals. ? Communicate, as appropriate, with Corporate A/P & CAG with vendor inquiries and/or invoice discrepancies. ? Maintain and balance petty cash (if applicable). ? Manage scholarship expenses, federal work study and VA program as applicable. ? Provide timely collections of Title IV and Non-Title IV funds. ? Process tuition billing, transfer credits and re-takes. ? Manage billing issues or discrepancies in CampusVue including appropriate communication to Regional Controller or CAG. ? Reconcile App Fee. ? Record the receipt of payments from students. ? Review monthly cash reconciliations for all bank accounts and resolve discrepancies timely. ? Administer Iron Mountain program at the campus Required Skills ? Ability to work independently with little supervision ? Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze and solve complex problems. ? Must be able to work under pressure, organize and manage the work to meet deadlines and well as work on multiple projects simultaneously ? Able to work constructively and communicate effectively with students, faculty, administrators, and other constituents ? High ethical standards ? Proficient knowledge of Excel and Word ? Knowledge of admissions, financial aid, retention, and placement procedures ? Knowledge of default management, regulatory audits ? Knowledge of internal control concepts and principles Required Experience ?
