Pre-Scale Technician in Minneapolis, MN

Its a pre-scale tech at General Mills. Duties include:Responsibility:Prescale and mix ingredients for development community as needed. Create and maintain documentation (lot numbers, RMATL numbers, amounts). Maintain inventory and organization of Prescale area. Store, log and maintain product and ingredient storage in walk-in temperature controlled boxes. Maintain databases as needed, such as Pre-scale Ingredient inventory, Storage Box inventory. Support other Pilot Plant services as needed. Assure efficient operation of Pilot Plant services by fostering a cooperative and superior work climate This position may require travel between research buildings during the work day.Qualifications:High school education plus one year additional college, technical or mechanical training, or equivalent experience. Must be available to work a flexible work schedule and be able to work at RTC, JFB or BOP (Breakout Plant) as workload demands. Will need to perform in a highly technical, flexible, industrial environment and work comfortably in a team atmosphere that requires continuing development of new skills. Must be a self starter with excellent attention to detail and good oral and written communication skills. Food processing experience desirable, but not required. Must be able to lift and manipulate 50 pounds.
