1928 Indian 101 Scout in Minneapolis, MN

1928 Indian 101 Scout

Here is your opportunity to purchase a true survivor 1928 Indian 101 Scout with the 45 cu inch engine. This motorcycle was stored in a basement since the 1940's . Later i became the lucky owner. I put wheel bearings, new tires and a chain on it and took it for a ride (with no brakes). The headlight and seat were replaced by the previous owner in 1930 . This headlight is a one year only item for 1930. This motorcycle runs as it is but really should have the engine rebuilt as its pretty smoky after it warms up good, so I have not ridden it since. However I guarantee it will start right up with gas and oil in it. I also need to mention, i put a linkert m-741 carburetor on this bike for start up, because the spray nozzle was stuck in the schebler and it needed cleaning. The linkert carb is on the bike now BUT THE ORIGINAL SCHEBLER will be included also!
